Thatis pretty cool. Is that some factory thing or did someone have their tank repainted? If so, someone did a nice job. I like it! Maybe Harley should have done it on the Street Glides to provide some continuuity with the '19 CVOs...

They have never had the same paint on the CVO Street Glide and CVO road glide, except the Gunship Gray.
Other than 2012, and 2019 the CVO Street Glide has always had the flashier paint and graphics.
-
It’s the originalal paint with mods. They did the tank, the fiaring and the side covers. I have a red one and thinking doing the same paintjob
-
Looks good. Disappointing for me that HD didn’t make it for the street glide.
-
Wasnt the orange/flat (denim) gray on both Street and Roadies?

They were real close. I think the orange was just a little different between the two of them though.
-
Looks great. Go to Harley and get a job in their design department.

Nice work. too bad the factory paint for the 2019 for the sesg could not have been more creative...with a few more chrome options for an old guy like me
-
Was that a local place that did it for you? I'd be interested in something like that. I'd actually want to buy a 19 CVO SG then.

Another guy posted a Picture of a 2019 Lightning Silver and Charred Steel CVO Street Glide and they had purchased the Fuel Tank from a Lightning Silver and Charred Steel CVO Road Glide and just put it on there. Looks pretty good. They are the same colors just reversed.
Here's a link to his thread.

I didnt know you can get another CVO tank so easily? Thought they take the old parts, or you have to have a VIN to even get one?
-
That is so very cool! Is that factory or a local painter? I have one of these on order and waiting for delivery in mid May. Need info please! Thx!

He never did say how he got the tank or if it was painted
-
It's a local job. He only extended the paintwork on the tank, fairing and the side covers. The painter is Arjan Monster from GL Paints. www.glpaints.nl He has the template made himself.

No, they were quite a bit different.

Great job, all looks good. I would like the stripes continued like that on the side covers for my Red Pepper :pepper:
-
I bought the red pepper two weeks ago. This winter i will do the side covers.
-
Where did you get the color matched heat shields???
