HD site above says approx 1,700 red in 2001 and 1,950 of the WG3's in 2002. I believe the breakout was like 700 black/gold and 1,250 blue/silver.
Red remains the fastest though.

Red fastest that is bad info....

I had a 2001 and now have a 2002 in black and can say without a doubt that the black is 100 times faster. :bananarock:
-
from people that worked in the Harley plant in york pa where these scoots where built there was 1450 of every color ever made it was just for a limited ed 2 years and done but they did make a street glide with the same color as the fxdwg2 with the 23k gold leaf and the red paint, but the black blue and red where limited ED but there is only 500 made with the 103cc & 110cc upgrade and 6speed trans from factory witch are rare

So if the black goes 120 mph (site username was a hint) the red only went 1.2 mph? Sovomabich, I'd have sold it too.

2001 and 2002 DWGs with 103 or 110 engines and six speeds from the factory? Oh yeah, that's rare. Very rare.....
-
Yea there rare as heck but you can still trade your 88 for the 103 or the 110 but
And have a chit load of performance they even put the original vin on the motor the swap takes about 2 to 4 weeks
-
My WG3 has a 103 ci engine but I only have a 5 spd trans.
When I pulled it apart I found out it was a 103 and has all Harley parts (pistons, cams, ect)
