Any have a product suggestion to remove baked on bugs from the primary cover.
i am afraid to scratch or ruin the finish on my 2012 cvo maple engine. I notice the black on the rocker is dull as well

Just like a plastic windshield or painted surface on front of your car. Soak a towel or similiar in water, put it over area where bugs are and let it soak for a few. Bugs will then easily wash off.
Believe me this knowledge is important in Florida with the two luv bugs seasons we have.
