I ordered them in late December just before Christmas, took about six weeks.

I do have the brake light gizmo installed as well and they work the same way, running lights and they go bright when the brake is applied.  They don't go on with the turn signals though.

I will add them to my Wishlist! I like them, and you need more light in the rear of these bikes!

That's correct.  I was even more pleased to find out that on the '07's this harness connector snaps onto the same mount that the power lock disconnects do.  Nice clean install.

Hmmmm!  I fitted the spoilers to my 07 a cuppla weeks ago, and I thought that they should do that, but I couldn't work out any way to get them on, other than at 90 degrees to the power lock connectors.  Have I missed something?

I think I may order these even if I don't install them right away. This looks like a part that could be quickly become obsolete.

Nah - I've had them on all my bikes since '02.  I usually go for the contrasting colour to the lid though, eg on my black and silver 100th FLHTCUI, the lids were silver, so I went with black spoilers.  Looks even cooler!

That's why I added the lighted saddle bag latches also to mine. They act as turn signals, the spoilers are brake lites, the tail lites blink with the Kuryakyan gizmo.  I wanted all the rear lighting I could get.  The bonus was the side lights and how cool they look from the side. Might help someone from making the dreaded left turn in front of me.

If you order a set and sit on them for a while, keep them temperature stable while you're waiting to install.  The foam "gaskets" don't do well with temp changes prior to installation.  I've had them on all 3 dressers I've had.  Great option.  Should be standard.

Hey GC_Super,
Any chance you have a picture or two of of your lighted saddle bag latches?  I like the idea, but I don't care too much for the picture in the HD Accessories catalog.  Maybe your picture is a little better???
Thanks.

I have and like the saddlebag and tourpack lights also.  As others have stated, the more light on the rear the better.  The only thing I don't like about them is the fact that they are not as bright as my Kuryakyn taillight and turnsignals.

I do have the brake light gizmo installed as well and they work the same way, running lights and they go bright when the brake is applied.  They don't go on with the turn signals though.

If anyone is interested, I could come up with a plug in adapter to give you the same functionality you have with your turn signals. This way, if you run the converter, you could get run/brake/turn out of your saddlebag lights.

Lots of options are possible, like also combining the power lock option found on the 07's so there is only one connection from the saddlebags, instead two.
