I like aushog's idea of pulling the unit and selling it. Maybe someone will want my old HD amp and harness too! I remember when gps was coming out in the 80"s, ours has about the same technology. You would think HD would put out something better on our bikes!

I've got a brand new amp and cable I need to sell too. I never turned it on to see how great it was. That way, I don't miss it.

Thanks Guys,
That confirms it, mount the Zumo and ebay the HK system!  I only hope my dealer will play ball and hard wire the Zumo up for me when I take delivery of the Duracell, cause I dont do electrics unless I have to.  Might need some advice later on the best options!

Cheers and thanks a lot.

Jazz, Jim(hd-dude) had some how to threads on wiring into the back of the radio for the 06's and 07's. I'm sure some one will link the thread and input on the 08's

Someday I may go that route, but for now stock wattage is ok for me. THe HW setup is definitely the cat's pjs. :2vrolijk_21:

But the red accent speakers look sooo good on the red bikes lowers. Even the amp and ampetts and power wire are red! You can't see them, it is just nice knowing there is more red hiding in there!
