Spyder,

I don't know if you've got heated grips or seat on your 04 or not but they stay hot on my 06 when I've got the ignition on acc.  So if you do, be sure they're switched off.

No, Bob, I don't have either (yet).  That's interesting that they would wire them that way.....to be on the Acc. switched position.  Recken they want you to keep comfortable while sitting at the 'drive-in'.  8) har!  :drink: spyder

 ;D I guess that was the reason.  I didn't realize it for a long time, I had left my grips and seat on once while listening to the radio waiting on some friends to show up and when I got on the bike, the seat and grips were nice and warm.  I'm glad I wansn't there very long or I might not have gotten the bike started.  :oops:
