Woohoo!!
« on: February 28, 2006, 11:15:26 AM »

;D  Just heard that my CUSE has a build date of tomorrow and I should have it by the end of March!  How will I be able to sleep between now and then?  [smiley=banana.gif]

When I got the build date for mine,  I kept two things next to my bed,  a bottle of scotch and a 2.5lb dead blow rubber mallet.  If you get your timing right (between the time you drink the scotch, and hit yourself as hard as you can in the forehead with the deadblow), you don't even feel it.  Of course,  you better stock up on asprin and bandaides too,  the next morning sucks!!!

I just got through an almost 7 month wait, and I'm not known for my patience. Really, it wasn't that bad. Didn't have any trouble sleeping, although it was on my mind a lot. Actually, the last day was going to be the worst, as it was scheduled to be ready late in the afternoon on a Tuesday, so I had planned to pick it up the next day. But, they called me at 9:30 that Tuesday AM and said "it's ready!

......Rear Fender Medallion (we don't get that on the UK bikes - anyone know the part #???).......

Jim

If you are speaking of the Cloisonne, rear fender (chrome and black) P/N 59423-03 (this is the part number from my 2004 SEEG Parts Catalog) Which can be seen on this thread/post. I believe this may be a protected part, if I remember correctly many have tried to get this for the 2005 SEEG and haven't been able to get them. [smiley=nixweiss.gif] Good luck.

Hmmm..... I sort of suspected that.  Of course it *should* be orderable using the VIN number off my bike (when it comes!) or of course the MoFoMoCo may not accept HDI orders for it even from genuine SE bike owners.....

So, if it turns out that it really IS a protected part, perhaps there is a US located 06 CUSE owner on the site who would be kind enough to order one for me....? Any volunteers?  ;)

http://flhrsei.org/gallery/project_spring_05

thers 6 or 7 pics that will give you an idea of how i made them internally wired
