09 se4 amp relocation
« on: March 06, 2011, 07:17:03 PM »

hi i just relocated my amp to behind the right side filler a lot of work but i think its worth it if you modify the end bracketts take the amp apart you can dril two holes in the housing  imade a strap with a peice of flat bar welded nuts on each end the same dem as the filler mount side bolts mounted it to the inside of the amp by counter sinking two 3/16 rivets  and use the filler bolts to mount it { do not bottomtop bolt out in the amp will hit  i the spaced the but clearance is fine when installed thru  the bracket } i then space out the top of the saddle bag brackett with a 1/2 in spacer ran the wiring under the strut cover  work great and is easily servicable ken
