Well, at the bottom it does say "Not for everyone"!  I would have to agree......the most boring CVO paint schemes to come out of the MoCo.
Those boring paint schemes are less costly to produce = more $$$ for the MoCo.  The days of the elaborate paint are over.

And for the Trike people.....you can now have a CVO Trike....
only $50,000.00
add tax and out the door is right at $55,000.00

come on down! they won't last long.

Dean Nelson

Let's see, Harley CVO Trike for around $55k and that may not be all when you look at other things down the road, or a new mid-engine Corvette with state of the art tech for $60k!  Not much to do on the new Corvette other than just drive the hell out of it... :)

My money would be on the new Corvette!

Doesn't look like Harley even is trying to sell touring bikes. No paint and no new frame or suspension. Love my 2014 SERK. Billy

Had to laugh reading about the new state of the art enhancements. ABS brakes that work leaned over in corners, traction control and hill hold. Standard on CVO, $995 extra on select touring bikes.

These features came standard on my 18 BMW K1600 B or bagger. Thousands less than a Harley. Feature comparison isn't even close

How sad.  At the labor day celebration in Milwaukee.  For the first time HD did show all the new CVO,s at the Museum along with the other bikes and new colors.

wow this is Depressing.  They have about 5 bikes against the museum wall.   The two colors of the new CVO Trike not present......WTF🙁😕

They should only void the powertrain warranty unless he did non HD upgrades to the infotainment system. We cannot do any engine mods to our new cars without losing the warranty. Bikes are no different now. Got away with it for a long time and HD paid the fines for doing so.

While this is very true with a car, and it now applies to bikes.

Difference is, a car you are comfortable with the Catalytic converters.  On a Harley it gets very hot and uncomfortable, also the engine is so lean it gets hotter than it needs to.  With a car the radiator controls that, with a bike it gets hotter than it needs to.

Understandable. But like everything else, the Federal Government believes in a one size fits all solution to issues.

Actually; not true. Emission standards for motorcycles is different than cars. In fact, motorcycles have been way behind auto regulations.

The driving force today is the new EU5 emissions getting ready to take effect in 2020 and 2021. Manufacturers design for Europe along with the states. They have global markets.

The good news, car and motorcycle manufacturers are figuring out how to meet emissions while delivering more HP. Look at what Chevrolet did with the new Corvette.
