Rear Blinker Bar
« on: July 10, 2016, 06:45:07 PM »

I have a 2015 Limited. Has anyone removed the rear blinker bar?
I am thinking of installing light bars where the filler strips are but the fender has indents and the 3 holes for the wires and 2 mounting studs.
Wondering if there is some type of trim that can go where the bar is?

Same rear fender and light on my 2015 Road Glide. I considered replacing the rear fender but decided not to as my goal was increased visibility (so why get rid of existing lights)? I installed the Custom Dynamics LED fillers (342 LEDs each) they look great and are as bright as hell!

Motor1 would you post a picture showing this. I was thinking the original lights will cover up the top of the filler strip looking out of place.

Here's a YouTube video showing the installation on a regular Limited (not a CVO).

I have to agree with the guy doing the video that the wiring provided is shade tree at best, and definitely not Plug 'n' Play.  Splicing wires and using those Mickey Mouse connectors is not what I expected of Custom Dynamics.  Hopefully they have fixed that since he made the video.

Wingman,
I am on family vacation out of state. When I return I would be happy to take a photo and post.
Returning home this Saturday.
