Pivot Bolt Covers
« on: June 18, 2014, 03:12:05 PM »

Hi All:

Does anyone have a part# or source for some chrome pivot bolt covers for the 2014 limited?  The black plastic ones look kind of cheezy. Besides mine picked up white spots that don't want to come off.  Lower belt guard got something on it, too.  Looks like that will be getting replaced with chrome, too.

Can't find the pivot bolt covers at HD.com, but thought for sure one of the members here found a part that fits.  Thanks in advance.

My brother calls me a chrome whore.  Is that bad?   :orange:

Do the covers from previous years fit?  If so, part # is 67865-89

I bought two and they fit perfectly replacing the POS plastic black ones.  A very cheap way to add some chrome! :orange:

Thanks guys.

67865-89 came up empty on the online HD parts catalogue and at Surdyke.com

I'll give it a shot at the stealer and see what he has on that number.

Cheers,

Part # is definitely correct. I got mine in a couple of days.  It's described as a "Headlamp plug", but it's the right thing for the swingarm holes. Check the part # at the stealer in any pre-09 touring parts book.

Yep, a direct Google search shows it.  I'll just have the dealer find them instead of ordering online.  Thanks!
