Saw a couple listed at www.gunbroker.com
Just contact the listing store/person to see if they still have one then arrange payment. They will be able to ship one to your local FFL dealer. I know Superior Pawn will charge $35 to handle the paperwork and do a backround check to comply with Feds. I think Bob's Gunshop in Norfolk has a similar program.

My wife got one in .40 Cal flavor, she wanted a 9 mm, but none of the gun shops could find one.  I'm not sure why the 9mm version is so hard to get but it seems to be the case  :nixweiss:

Yes, I've seen them, but you pay well over retail plus transfer fee.  Don't need one that bad.

Not always, Pete.  I've purchased pistols on GunBroker for less than retail and even with the $35 transfer fee and postage, the sales tax savings still made it a better deal than local.  Just have to watch & shop hard.  ;) har.  spyder

Me too...I saved about $150 on my Sig 1911 over what I would have paid locally, even with the CC fees.

The m&p shield is new so it's likely commanding a premium for those available until s&w catches up with production to meet demand.

I carry a bond arms. 45 long colt or 3 inch 410 shot. Double barrel. Kicks like a mule but gets attention. Easy to conceal carry

Better than no gun at all.  A worthy BUG, but if you double-tap with that one, you're done.  spyder
