Not to sound like a grownup from a Christmas Story but "Don't get that you may shoot your junk off!"

That's exactly what I thought when I went to the website.  :'(  I would suggest not chambering a round and always double check to make sure your safety is on.

WOW! I really like the clipdraw.  It looks like it works with 1911's. I'm thinking it would work on my 3" Ultra CDP Kimber.  What do you think?   :nixweiss:

Judi...the site shows the clipdraw fitting 1911's, both standard frame and Commander.  Also shows another part number for the Officer's model, the Colt Defender, and Compact.  Very nice, and inexpensive too!

Well, a 1911 standard frame or Commander might not fit mine but maybe a compact.  I guess I will have to investigate into this more.  Will it fit your pistol Terry?  It is a pretty cool item.   :2vrolijk_21:

The Sig C3 is a commander length slide sitting on an Officer's frame, so I would think one of them would fit.  I'd contact the place to be sure before purchasing.

Those looking for great concealment  should look at this type of holster for long term carry.

http://glockstore.glockstore.com/usa-iwb-holster

The advantages to this holster versus pocket or some kind of clip system is that it protects the wearer from sharp edges, protects finish of weapon from body oils and lint etc. It also protects your clothes from premature wear. It also aids in concealment by making it harder to print through clothing. This holster also allows you to tuck in your shirt and still hold your weapon securely,no fear of having the weapon work it's way out and fall out.
It does make it easy to draw weapon without snagging on clothing and you can re-holster your weapon after firing without burning yourself.
The holster is made for many different models including various 1911's.
many female law enforcement officers use something like this over a purse unless wardrobe or situations dictate otherwise, it is too easy to loose control or access to a weapon if in a purse versus on the person.

I've used on my Glock 27 for over 6 years. Spring tension still tight against frame. Has never frayed or left a mark on any of my clothing and can be adjusted to be made comfortable in any position.

Clipdraw works on Glock 20, 29 and 5" 1911... Used all three a combined 21 years.... Better mousetrap when a iwb is not practical or convenient. :2vrolijk_21:

Picked up this nice little Browning 1911 22 LR A1 yesterday.  Put about 100 rounds through it and it is one sweet pistol.  Couldn't be happier.

They are very hard to find Terry.  I walked into Bass Pro on Saturday and they had this pistol in the case.  I couldn't believe my eyes!  Walked out with it under my arm and went to my brothers in the country target shooting.  Very accurate and a blast to shoot.   ::)
