They are very hard to find Terry.  I walked into Bass Pro on Saturday and they had this pistol in the case.  I couldn't believe my eyes!  Walked out with it under my arm and went to my brothers in the country target shooting.  Very accurate and a blast to shoot.   

I've seen the 22 in a lot of sports store on the shelve..  I never see the Browning High Power anywhere..

Your's could lijw like that       but i think you would have a hard time finding  a good gunsmith artist that will do it cheap.

Well, i just learned something new.. I thought these were custom done by some really good gunsmith artist. The factory option make this a very desirable Browning High Power ... I want one     CVOGirl, this would be awesome gun for your collection

Something similar, hides under the cover.  Shotgun with low recoil slugs alternate with buckshot...

Have you compared the low versus regular slugs?

I tried a box of  Remington 00 low recoil and a "regular" box of the same. Not scientific of course, but the "in the shoulder" feel with my Weatherby PA-459 (pistol grip)  was that the standard ammo kicked less.

Anybody modded a 20 gauge 870? Have one that I butchered when I was a kid, but now want it to be something fun for my girl to shoot, also a nightstand gun for her. Receiver is still good. Thinking about an 18" barrel and a +2 extender. Switch out the wooden pump with some polymer, but cant decide on stock. Standard polymer, pistol grip with shoulder stock, retractable, side fold, fold over. Its been a process to even find this stuff for a 20 but I did. Now I'm just not sure about what style and brand of furniture. She has no input. So wondering if any of you have tooled around and could either recommend or advise to stay away from any particular style or manufacturer. Thanks

Pete, I haven't done it yet, but I did talk to the this guy about building an 870 20. Problem with the 20 is the popular accessories don't fit, as you found out.

This shop will make an 870 20 that takes the 12 accessories.
He only works on Remington shottys so he made be a good resource for you. Will also work on your shotgun.
My build was to start out as  youth model for the shorter stock, but they can adapt several of the adjustable stocks to the fit the 20.
