Finally received my laser site for my magnum, went out last Saturday and shot it. Sure hits hard for such a small package. Need to spend the time to sight in the laser next time out.

Where did you get that Laser Site for that, I have the same gun I like to pick one up.

This was my second new handgun purchase in 1976, a nickel M29-2.

After I caught the fever, a local Dealer made my day and helped me get the cure. As I remember back then, the market for these was pretty hot!

My Dad has one of those Bad Boys!! With a 6" barrel I think!

Was just gonna ask that, thanks! Love the grips too. I've got some pearl wannabe on mine. Thats gotta be custom, but I'd still like some wood on mine.

Dammit, Freedom Arms. Not NAA, called and said that their grips could fit with modification. Called Freedom and they do have wooden grips for $21 though. Really like the NAA belt rig, but won't fit mine. Freedom said they still have "texas style" belt buckles for mine for $69.

I haven't shot my .22 mag often and still have a box of ammo for it. I also have 1000 rds of .22lr laying around and was wondering, is it ok to shoot this in magnum revolver? I would normally think no problem, but while looking at NAA website I see that they sell mag guns with optional different wheel for shooting LR.
Anyone know?

One thing you have to consider when shooting a shorter cartridge in a longer cylinder is the carbon buildup. Like with a .357 revolver you can shoot .38 Spl in it but over time powder and dirt will build up and you won't be able to chamber the .357 rounds unless you thoroughly scrub the ends of the cylinder to prevent buildup.
Not 100% sure but that may be reason for not shooting .22LR in .22Mag revolver?

I believe if you check diameters of the shells 22 magnum is different in diameter. It has been 20+ years since I thought about this.... Carbon buildup will defenitely be an issue no matter what.
