How this ?

Ruger LC9 – A New Pocket Pistol in 9mm
Today they announced the new LC9 polymer pocket pistol exclusively online at 2pm. You will not find an story on it in any print magazines today. It is still two weeks until SHOT Show, and by then it will be old news. Most remarkable is that the gun is actually shipping February 1, 2011, in like a month. In an industry where only a few years ago the print world ruled and you couldn’t get a gun for six months after it hit the magazines, this is a monumental approach that Ruger is using to launch a new product.

Those with Kimber Ultras for a year or two now. Fire more then 500 rounds through it?
Can you shoot a box or two comfortably and still want to shoot more?

I have been trying to get a Springfield XDs locally but the pricing is either just ridiculous or they are not available.
There are 2 Kimber's at a local GS that are nearly unused that I am now considering.

I have a Kimber Ultra CDP.  I have 1600 round of FMJ 230 grain through it.  I have another 180 rounds of 230 +P hollow point through it.  Became much more reliable after the first 300 rounds.  I have put 100 through it in a day.  My wife has put 50 through it in a day.

I was expecting it to be harder on the hand than it is, especially being short 3" barrel, short officers grip, and light aluminum.  Rather nice to shoot, pretty accurate at self defense distances.  No problem 21 to 30 feet out hitting bulls eye on human silhouette.

X2. For a 3" barrel I felt it didn't kick anymore than my 9 mm M&P

I have the same Kimber. Mine did shoot much better the more I shot it. It is a tack driver at short distance. I love it. When not at work, I carry it all the time. I carry a Glock 19 at work. It is a good gun too, but I love my Kimber.

Here's some questions to see what's popular these days

1) Revolver or Semi-auto pistol ?
2) 357 or 44 ?
3) 9mm, 40cal or 45 ?
4) Bolt action or lever action rifle ?
5) Pump or semi-auto shotgun ?

Here's some questions to see what's popular these days

1) Revolver or Semi-auto pistol ? I have both and have carried both at the same time.
2) 357 or 44 ? The wheel gun is 38.
3) 9mm, 40cal or 45 ? The semi auto is 357sig
4) Bolt action or lever action rifle ? Bolt
5) Pump or semi-auto shotgun ? Pump

I would imagine what's popular is what we have.
I would like to have a 44 but wouldn't sell the 38 to get one.
I like a lever but hunting is with a bolt.
All the shotguns are pump but wouldn't mind a semi auto.
If I buy anything else it will be a drone killer. Not sure what that would take but it seems like something we may need.
You know, one shot, one kill!
What do you prefer?

I have revolvers mostly but for carry semi 9. I do have a Desert Eagle 50 if you like big cal.
I have one 357 and 2 44's, but prefer the 357 for ease of shooting, I hunt with the 44 though in case I need the knock down power in an emergency.
As far as revolvers go for hunting I have a S&W 500 (.50 cal)revolver with a scope.
Here again I have multiples of each but have hunted with the levers in a long time staying with my Weatherby bolt actions.
Hunt with Beretta 390 semi and have a short 12gauge double barrel for home security.
