Those Nighthawks are sweet. Right on par with my Kimber Custom II 1911 full frame but for a CW I prefer my Kimber Super Carry or G23.

I have not so I guess it's not a fair assumption on my part that it is on par with a Kimber. The Nighthawks are sweet guns and highly acclaimed but my Kimber shoots better than I do so it would be tough for me to justify that big of a step up.

H'mmm, where did the Nighthawk folks get their start?

Having tried a Kimber, Wilson and Nighthawk, you really have to be "into" it to appreciate the NH. Still trying to convince #1 son that his custom NH would be better off at my house then buried in his safe.
One of the big cheese's at NH built it for him after multiple problems with his WC. Guess it helps they are buddies and do the Blackhawk stuff together.
