Title: Headlight Covers
Post by: JCal616 on October 24, 2013, 09:27:01 PM
Can anyone recommend attachable headlight covers for the 2013 CVO Road Glide Custom?  I'd like to keep my headlights looking new.  When I rode crotch rockets, you could buy an ABS plastic shield or guard you could affix using small swatches of fine hook/loop (Velcro) tape.  The covers were cut to the dimension of the headlamp based on your bike.  Worked great.  ;D

Can't recommend these but just saw them today at Cyrillic Haze Post:  Road Guard For Road Glide (http://cyrilhuzeblog.com/2013/10/24/road-guard-for-road-glide/)

They are available in 2 finishes, powder coat black or chrome. MSRP $294.95. At Trask Performance or call 623-879-8488.

You can remove your black trim and go back with the original design like my 01 had.

Hell's Foundry was working on a tinted bubble. For me I can't see why anyone would run it and give up light output.... jus sayin'.

CEE baily has a clear cover that attaches with velcro double sided tape.  I bought one to prevent a rock taking out a daymaker.  around 60 bucks.  not bad from a price standpoint and at 10 feet you can not really tell its mounted on the lights.

Just went to the CB site.

Great insurance for the EXPENSIVE LED lights. BTW, when I looked at the price, it was only $39.95.

I'll get one as my "winter project"!      :coolblue:
