OK, Greg...if there's already a thread like this in the RGU section, I couldn't find it, so I apologize in advance if I've created a duplicate!
I know that there's an all-encompassing "Pictures" section in the CVO Social" section, and I know there's a poll out there, but I (hopefully) thought we kinda needed our OWN picture thread!
I've noticed that some of the other sections have a "Post yer picture" thread, so I thought why not ours too?
So guys and gals, it's time to post your best photos of your beloved CVO Road Glides!!!
:orange: :mango: :bananarock: :apple: :jalapeno: :cucumber: :pineapple: :pepper:
I'll start this thing off...

Bump.
C'mon guys! I know you guys love your new RGU's...don't you?
So how come we have 117 views (only 117 of you out there?), and not one of you has a picture of your baby to share?
Man, I should've bought a Convertible or a Breakout! Those guys are proud of their bikes from the looks of all their pictures!
C'mon...show me up! I know there's some beautiful scoots out there...you are out there...aren't you??
-
Very nice, Kid! :2vrolijk_21: I've posted my share and then some.... how about a quintet of Road Glides?

Sweet rides, one and all! Let's keep it going!
I really enjoy seeing all these RG's and what folks have done with them, and I know you guys out there have gotta get a kick out of it too! They truly are works of art in my opinion.
Hey, Greg...there's always room for new pics of our beauty's on the forum!!!
Surely we have the megabyte space for our megabikes!!!! ;D

Need some better pics but wanted to put another red on here.

This statement is so true. Until the day I bought my bike I didn't like the looks of the RG's. Wasn't crazy about the look a few days afterwards but liked the way it rode so much I didn't care what it looked like anymore. Now I like the look and still love the ride.

Made mine a little sportier

It's filthy after 3500 miles but shure b a great ridin' modersykle. There are some tough bugs in the middle of this great country.... they had a lot of guts.... ;D

I'm sorry they didn't have enough blue ones to go around guys... (http://acfixer.com/NewPics/hidebehindsofa.gif)
Seriously, I love them all. I've always have a soft spot for burgundy and I may have chose that one if my dealer had it... He had blue and black and I've owned enough black vehicles in my life to know about that love/hate relationship. ;) I agree they're currently the best looking bike made, I do think the bats are a close runner up.

:zroflmao:
Yer killin' me!
But I agree with ya, bro. As much as I love the blue (and it does match my Bushtec!), all I can say is, if all they'd had was the red one...maybe, just maybe, I'd be drivin' red now!

Even the "oldies" still have a beauty to them if they're taken care of and loved, and no doubt your friend does exactly that, Lance. Thanks for posting!
-
Yeah that was back in the days when there was no RGU! Piece by piece he made one, said he never cared for the batwing but wanted all the other goodies and the pizza box. If I remember correctly I think adding that box and passenger comfort cost him $3K or so and hes $25K in receipts after buying the bike used for $15K in 2005. I remind him of that whenever he gives me crap for spending $40K on mine. :D But it's really a beautiful motorcycle and Syd is a fantastic rider.

The rally has always been a really good time down there in early September as there's so much to do and see in town and the area around it, but it's within a week or two of Maggie Valley, which could be cutting it close for some.
Here's another of us heading back home on Hwy 7 north in the Ozarks south of Harrison, AR.

New Harley Davidson rider.....Changing over from 15+ years on a Goldwing to my new 2016 Road Glide Ultra CVO. Only one word can describe my new CVO......WOW!!!!!

^^^^ Now is that beautiful or what? :bananarock:
Congrats on the new ride, I don't think you could have picked a better one.

Congrats, and you picked the fastest and prettiest color too. Lol

There are some real beauties posted here, but my hat goes off to Puzzled. I just finished looking at hundreds of pics of your's in the making and was thoroughly impressed with all your work. Personally ... I was never a big fan of the huge front wheel look on a bike, but I just had to say I'm amazed and love everything you did to that bike ... AWESOME job! I'd love to see you get your hands on a blue one next! Do you have any gopro vids riding it or in action?

Here's our 2015 scoot "Tournado" on its first road trip. This was an 8K miles round-trip cross-country adventure which began on the island of Kauai where we lived for 13 years. We're now in Colorado where we can enjoy our ride 9 months a year ....LOL ;D! It's amazing how the "Autumn Sunset" color intensifies when the lighting is just right!

Nice picture on the Dragon, which is very close to me, I ride it at least once each year.

Go down to post 53 on page 3 of this thread...see what you think. Your bike is too fast looking to keep those chintzy old tank badges!
-
I do like those. I had them on my CVOSG. I honestly don't mind the badges that are on my tank now. If I were to change them, I'd swap out the emblems from my Breakout with the skull.

Hi Everyone,
Jason in Southern California checking in with my new 2015 CVO. Well, it is new, but it did sit for a while at the warehouse and at the dealership so I got a good deal. Breaking in the motor on the treacherous SoCal freeways this week. I used to have a 2005 Honda VTX 1300 that was my commuter bike for 4 years. It did it's job well, but man this CVO is a friggin' spaceship compared to my old VTX. I'm simply amazed at how it rides, the styling, the technology and the whole package. I was going to go with a red Limited, but I stepped up to the CVO and I don't regret it at all.
Purchased from Riverside Harley in Riverside, CA.
I wasn't sold on the Root Beer color scheme at first, but now it's grown on me. I'm partial to red bikes, but they didn't have the same deal on the 2016 units in red.
I plan on adding louder exhausts and maybe a couple odds and ends, but nothing major cause its so awesome as is.
A couple pics. I'm sure you guys are familiar with how it looks. :P

Alwesome bike , I need the LED like that , where did you got them and how to put them in ?

The blue LED's are from Custom Dynamics. CD LED's are pricey, but pretty nice. I was told the remote had a dimmer, but it doesn't (and that didn't set well with me). They are very bright, and a dimmer function would have been nice instead of all the crazy blinking functions that came on the remote. If I had to do it over, I would have left them off and spent my money on different mods, as I rarely use them.
Putting them on was a day long adventure and taught me a lot about the bike. I have them located under both the front of the fairing and the tour pak, at the bottom of both saddlebags and the tranny, along both sides of the gas tank (which has to be removed to do that properly), behind the horn bell and the air breather case, and behind the engine under the seat. Use lacquer thinner or 3M promoter to prep the area before you stick them to the bike, otherwise they'll fall off. And absolutely don't run the wires anywhere they could get rubbed, crushed, or cut. Solder the wires together whenever possible and don't use wire nuts. Any wiring has to be rock solid on the bike or you'll develop a short in no time.
I drew up my own schematic so I knew how many lights I wanted at each location (these LED strips can be cut into multiples of 3 lights per strip and individually hooked up, then I checked them carefully for fit and placement before attaching them. Also check each one to a 12v battery several times both before and after installation to make sure they work properly. Wire direct to the battery and you won't have any issues. I have one remote in my tour pak and another velcro'd to the bike so I can reach it while driving.
Hope this helps, and thanks for the comments!

Just an FYI, you can use a 9v battery also to test those lights. I've done that on all 3 HDS I've had when adding lights. Keeps things simpler when doing a simple check.

First Place at our Legion Rod and Bike Show.
Congratulations! Having a color-matched Bushtec hitched up to a nice bike really attracts the attention!
I won a similar contest with my '07 Electra Glide and the Bushtec as well!

2015 CVO RG Ultra without Tour Pak
I love the low-slung hot rod look of an RG without the tourpak.

That's what we should do. Then we don't have to go by the dealership and gawk at the brand new bikes. Then after that, the dealer can call offer such a great deal by asking us to pay $20,000 on top of the bikes we have that have lots more equipment. I think I'll keep what I have. Stuart. Just sayin.

A little late posting, but my 2016 RG Ultra CVO. Purchased in January 2016 after blowing motor on my 2007 CVO Ultra Classic.
