Anyone have any experience with either of these bags or any other I may not have looked at? The two above expand to 3800 CI and 3550 CI respectively. That pretty large.

I have the HD premium tour pack luggage, like it but too small, I want something that holds weeks worth of clothes and laptop and toiletry kit.

If you already have a tourpack it may be worth getting a back seat bag to keep the weight more towards your center of gravity. Generally the more you load up high on your bike the more handling & stability is affected.
Also consider how much you need to cart around with you & go with low weight options. Another good option is to put your clothes in roll up vacuum bags so they take up less space. We get them from Walmart for around 15 bucks.

Like idea of back seat bag. Only issue I see is back blocking sound of rear speakers.

You could try using a cooler (esky in Australian). I have a hd one that sits nicely on the back seat and does not obstruct speakers. If I needed to cart more I just put a little cargo net on top. Works like a charm.
Bonus is it can be used to keep beer cold when you are not riding. Mine does not get much use on the bike nowadays as Miss Lenda is normally perched there.

:2vrolijk_21: Bought these because they were recommended on this forum & very pleased with quality. They hold up very well over time, have a lifetime warranty, never had to use it. Both have been on top of tour packs and on the passenger seat, depending on BSR/no BSR.

No offense folks, this ain't my first rodeo, ridden form Fl to Sturgis and form NJ to Fl and every summer from Fl to NC/TN. Issue is on this trip, I will need a bigger, or secondary piece of luggage for auto train. I am now leaning towards back seat piece as Major Tom suggested, sorry, I cant do a cooler, I have a reputation to uphold. Lol. Just need a bag I and remove from the bike to keep change of clothes, toiletries and CPAP machine in so I don't keep entire train awake.
