Title: V&H Monster Ovals
Post by: johnmowcop on June 22, 2018, 02:22:08 PM
Sacrilege I know, but is there a way of just taking the edge of the level of sound. Over long distances it is a bit waring on the ears, even with ear plugs in.

Not sure what the inside of your cans are like measurement wise, but I've used the Fullsac screens and baffle wrap in both stock CVO cans and 4" Rineharts.

The screens are slipped into the mufflers, and they hold the baffle wrap against the inner wall of the mufflers. Will definitely quiet them down without losing any performance.

Call Vance & Hines. They have quite baffles for many of their slip-ons. I have found them to be very helpful in the past on this same issue.

I'm so much happier having got rid of my V&H ovals. Yes, too loud. I do really like the Dragula 2 that I replaced them with.
