Title: gold key?
Post by: trahog on August 18, 2018, 11:04:01 AM: Did the 2018 cvo street glides come with a gold key? friend just bought one and said he had no gold key.

Post by: grc on August 18, 2018, 01:41:58 PM: I think the Gold Key went bye-bye back in 2013, when they replaced it with a coin or something. You used to be able to buy one from them, but now I don't even see it listed in the online catalog.

Post by: skratch on August 19, 2018, 12:13:20 PM: and for a price, you can get an all new lockset that will fit your key (if you happen to find one). in my case, $206, but i don't have any fancy automatic locking bags or anything like that, that may drive the price up. plus an extra $20 for the tour pack lock.... (i'd have to really want to have my bike setup for the gold key to pay this)

2013 CVO's did not come with a Gold Key. It was a Museum membership and a challenge coin of you bike model.

Better then you get with an 18 or 19 CVO which is nothing.

There is a list in the owners manual each year. 13 and 14 no gold key. 15 got a gold key, not sure on 16. 17 on no gold key.
