Did you have a chance to see this compared with the other paint schemes? I really like the blue, but it's hard to say when you can't see them in person. I was thinking hard about the rum almost because I thought it would be less popular and it seems to have a lot more depth. So much color change depending on the conditions.
Even just with photos you can tell how much variation there is depending on the light. I think this is true for all of the colors, but the most change IMHO is in the Rum.

The blue is a beautiful bike. Without having them side by side, I'm not sure it's not the same as the cobalt blue on my SEEG. :nixweiss:
I saw the spiced rum and it's a nice bike also but the paint didn't pop for me like the blue did. But then it's no secreat that I'm a blues man. :2vrolijk_21:
I wouldn't mind owning one, some day.

I actually thought about asking to see if they could do a rum paint job, but use the PALE gold leaf instead. Probably no way in hell. Anyway I think the blue is kick @ss. Only reason I was leaning in the rum direction is because I thought it might not be so popular and less people would have that color. Gotta be different somehow.

I don't think the pale leaf would look as good on the Rum...with the main color being almost a burgandy, the gold leaf pops off nicely on the bike. (Look at my avatar for a pic of the tank on my SESG). The Rum can really only be truly appreciated in person. The pictures, even the ones I took with my Nikon D90 in another thread, don't do the Rum justice (or I fear any other color). Depending on how the light hits the Rum, it can be a very deep Red to almost a brown. (The base color on the Rum is a metallic purple.) I don't know about the others, but the Rum definitely "does it" for me. :2vrolijk_21:

I have cobalt 06's but if I were buying the 2010 SESG I would go with the rum, something about the gold and rum that appeals to me. Have fun on your new bike!

That could be lucky for those that own a Huckleberry. :nixweiss: They (MoCo) has been tempting the hell out of me recently (O/B SERG). :nervous: Just not a RG type person. :nixweiss:

I do really like the color... just not sure if I'm a fixed wing (fairing) type of guy. With my height to get a shield that would be functional would (IMO) be a big arse piece of plastic on the front of that bike. I can keep the "draggin' bagger" look a lot better w/a batwing fairing then I can w/a fixed wing fairing. :nixweiss:
