how can i get a owners manual for a 2002 fxdwg3 that i just bought???

A dealer will be able to order one for you and you may want to check on eBay for one.

i found some on ebay but it just states for a 2002 Dyna, does the CVO version differ at all are they the same manual ??

If it were me I'd look for one that had the P/N that I mentioned in my previous post.

service manual is the same for all 2002 Dynas but the owners manual will be model specific. I see them on ebay occasionally if the dealer cannot help.
