I GAVE my bro Screamin Bagle three sets of chubby handlebars and some cables and hoses for him to sell on e-bay so he could maybe pick up enough money to cover the single barrel burbon I'm always suckin down at his house. I told him with no exception to keep whatever he might get for the stuff since all it was doin was gathering dust in my garage.
What does he do? He makes $440 on the stuff and then buys ME two sets of Snap-on sockets -3/8 drive -12 point - metric and standard The previous owner of my 03 SERK thought it'd be cute to change every freakin nut and bolt on the bike to chrome 12 points with the curbs (aircraft hardware ?)
So, this thread is dedicated to all the unselfish bros like my bro SB

Seems like as good a reason for a thread as any [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Hey SpiderMan, you mean you've got a mixture of the 12 point hardware in both metric and standard on that scoot? [smiley=nixweiss.gif] spyder

What I don't want Spidey to know is that after the 5th or 6th drink, I switch him over to the cheap stuff.......you know, regular Jack Daniels......At that point, I don't think he knows the difference. (Oh sh$t, did I say that out loud...don't tell him OK)???? I don't want to sound like me and spidey are playin with each other here, but if anyone out there in TV land ever has the chance to meet this big webb slinging fool, take it. Real friends are hard to find, I don't mind if you borrow mine sometime. This freakin guy is aces.

I don't want to answer his question, but YES....both metric and SAE. What gets me is that some of these fasteners have metric 12pt heads and SAE threads. The guy who owned it before spent a fortune buying these bolts, and then having them chromed. I gotta admit.... the sh$t looks good, but you gotta have THE RIGHT FREAKIN TOOLS.........

Nah It's easy as can be, my old fingers don't move fast enough to suit the big Beagle so he pushes me outa the way and does it himself - - - - - and I get to drink his burbon
don't tell him I poured the Maker's Mark into the Jack Black bottle [smiley=drink.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=banana.gif] [smiley=jalapeno.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]
