Title: Oil on Spark Plug Tip and Threads
Post by: scottieskankster on July 07, 2006, 11:09:49 PM
Changed out my spark plugs tonight.  Rear plug looks good.  Front plug had oil on the tip of the plug, and the threads.
Any ideas?

Sure it was oil, and not gas?  Why were you changing plugs?  Please advise.  Later--HUBBARD

OK Scottie we may be able to help you out here, but we need some more info.

Year of the bike, miles on the motor, size of the motor, mods done to the motor, service intervals on the bike and last but not least your riding habits.

With this info we may be able to help you out.

BTW welcome to this great site. It has a wealth of information(again) and the people around here are great.
