Eliminate helmet buffeting on pre '15 Road Glides
« on: July 04, 2017, 01:14:24 AM »

Just bought a new Shoei J-Cruise helmet and the design eliminates wind buffeting on the old fairing design.

Never really had a wind buffeting problem when I had a windscreen the right height.

Road lot of miles on 15 prior RG, never had a problem with buffeting unless I tried to be cool and used a 4-5" short windshield. Wore open face Shoei and Modular both in those years. Those were and are great touring bikes, with an appropriate windshield.

I run that tiny shield and haven't ever had any buffeting issues.

I tried so many different wind screens... the is only one solution a Madstadd
its like a whole new bike it saves your ear drums you can turn the music at least 3 bars down and high speed stability is also improved

at 75 mph I had bugs just float for a while between me and the fairing

I get my shields from windvest.  Never have any buffeting ever or any other issues.  Try theirs. Bet it will make a huge improvement.  Stuart.
