Back from Daytona where we put 1004 trouble free miles on the fresh build. The bike is everything that I was striving for. Needless to say I'm very happy with it.

The suspension is perfect. The new rear shocks can be ridden at any height. I don't have a gauge on the bike so I don't know how much pressure I'm running in them. Visually it looks like I'm running them at about the middle of the 4 1/2" stroke. The front end with the AS pistons in them rides equally as great.

I'm happy with my choice of saddlebags. The taper really allows me to get through the corners without hitting, even with the shocks partially aired down. With the taper of the bags I lost some storage space compared to my 2013. It required me to be creative packing then.

The stereo sounds good at high volume. It still needs to be tuned to clean the sound up some. The factory head unit lacks a little compared to an aftermarket radio. I'm hoping I can work around that as I like how it is water proof and has GPS. I did use the GPS once. It took me a minute to figure it out...

The seats could use some gel in them or I need some more saddle time to get use to them.

The windshield works however I'd like it to be a little taller for highway travel. Getting use to the various vents in the fairing is interesting. I'm still not sure what they do.

I'm thinking of adding a chopped tour pack for just a little bit more room.

Glad your happy with the bike, its beautiful.  That is interesting about the taper in the bags letting you run the curves.  That should be worth the loss of space.

Totally dig your end result, spectacular result. Thanks for the photos too, great build article. Thanks for selling me your old (lol) 21" CVO wheel and CVO back end (bags and fender). I just have to paint / pinstripe them Amber Whiskey to match the rest. The bike will also get the matching CVO Knockout rear wheel. I'm also redoing a custom seat to emulate the seat on the grey 18 CVOs with black leather, perforated diamond centers, orange accent stitching and black stitching everywhere else.

Really loving the story Mike.  Thanks again for sharing.  This thread is more fun than the thread on my Road King's build.  You did a butt-ton more fab and you did it all butt-tons faster.  So glad it's been a reliable ride and fun project  .
