Current windshield sits about 1 1/2" above the vent. I could use a shield that is 1" to 2" taller, preferably with a curved lip.

If you measure up from the center vent I believe my stock one is 8" with no recurve. I'm not at home right now but happy to check when I get there.

Due to the various angles of the windshields, I use from the top of the dash number as that is what you are looking over. The Windvest 12" I ordered was way too high although the measurable surface area wasn't that much larger than what I have. Damm windshields.....

The stock windshield on a 2018 CVO Road Glide is taller for all colors besides Gunship Gray.  Here is mine on a Black Earth / Vivid Black.

So as part of the 3 different themes for the 2018 CVO RoadGlides, it looks like the Gunship Gray got a really short windshield.  The Orange and the Black FLTRXSEs got a higher one.  If you go to Harley's website and just look at the CVO RoadGlide and go to the Explore Paint in 360degree area you can see the windshields changing between Gunship Gray and the others.

And it looks to be 2 5/8" above the vent.  Not sure why my photo rotated after I posted but it did.
