your are correct the dealer cannot see it. However that is not what I am talking about and it has been confirmed now more than once and power train warranty voided by MOCO dealer was unaware. SO how did that happen??  Not going to get into it on a level of PV is better or worse just stating what I know to be factual .. It showed factory cal on the DT .
Same here.

the 18 CVO 117 bikes are a different  No air cleaner , no slip on no street tuner no nothing EPA or other wise  . That is the deal on that bike..

I am a little confused by the above statement.

I have an 18 CVO RG.

While I had great plans for more invasive performance upgrades, I have to decided to hold off on those for a bit until some of the well known other issues with the M8 have been addressed.

However, I am wanting more performance. I already have Fullsac cores in my stock mufflers and had planned on using the Fullsac MX headpipe and a better AC.(I haven't made up my mind on which AC.) Originally I had planned on using a Thundermaxx ecm, as my thinking was it would be the easiest to return the bike back to stock configuration if a "warranty" issue should arise. But now there is some speculation that the factory ecm maybe recording odometer readings and thus might cause DT to flag the bike. (I don't know if this has been confirmed yet.) So, since those in the know have confirmed that the TTS has successfully returned the ecm back to stock, and left no trace for the DT to flag the bike, I figured that is the way to go.

But, your statement above makes me pause my plans. Are you saying, that there is no way to "enhance" my CVO other than the mediocre HD components and tune?

You can do whatever you want, his point was about your factory warranty.

Lots of people have opinions about upgrades and a lot of them will chase performance through upgrades outside of the HD path.

My experience with performance upgrades is that you sacrifice reliability with every performance upgrade you add. (MY EXPERIENCE). The more extreme the upgrade the more risk you take on that you may have a failure. These bikes were mass produced. When you try to turn them into performance machines you will get the same results as at the track. Do you have any idea how many times there are critical failures on a track? I have friends who built performance drag machines. They rebuilt their engines multiple time a season (summer).

If you stay in the HD box of upgrades your reduce that risk of failure and will be covered under warranty if your engine does fail.

Let the bashing begin.

Performance Bagger  for under $20,000 US.

From the outside, judging by capacity, cylinder dimensions and power output, it seems that nothing has changed. Yet the whole idea is to tune the 998 cc Balanced Supercharged Engine for low- and mid-level grunt, combined with fuel efficiency – all the while producing 200 hp (149 kW) at 11,000 rpm without ram-air, and 210 hp (157 kW) under its effect. The maximum torque of 137.3 Nm (101.3 lb-ft) is equally impressive, produced at 9,500 rpm.
