Also updating the clutch basket and clutch. Going with a 49 tooth clutch gear and a compensator eliminator

Sounds a mighty solid bottom end that, so as @Dragos go all in & get him to fit up an Aerocharger setup instead !!

On the wife's 124 I just did a similar build and was very close to the 135 squared number with a dragula pipe.   The only difference was I used his piston as a flattop and the 640 S&S Cam, Plate and pump.   The build is on here somewhere.   The compression was set to low 190's cranking and used MVA heads reworked by Sachs.   Are you putting in the 2.120 valve to close the valve to throat in your head?

Aim clutch, was thinking of using the evolution clutch setup but was told it's a hard clutch to squeeze. I don't think we are going with the 2.1 valves

Does Frank have your crank or motor/bike yet?

If you are doing the complete Aim CF2 you might consider buying the 400 spring as well as the 480 to play with it.   Also recommend ordering the orange and white springs if you don't get them it might help setup the clutch.

the larger valve 2.120 or 2.150,  if you are doing the headwork should help make power as you have a better valve to throat ratio.   Might want to check with Frank on that one.   I thought he did the 2.150 with 1.635 combo, but you'd need to validate with him.

Did you ask for Carrillo's?  I thought Frank usually used a different rod w/ PR3's.  Build looks good and best of luck to ya.

He is defaulting to the ultimate rod now, wasn’t a lot of data at the time so I asked for the Carrillo’s.   I will try the Ultimate Rods next go around to have a “comparison” point of view and save some bucks.

Are the Carrillo’s overkill on the street prolly, but after all the money spent felt it was a nominal cost based on they had good feedback.

Hytech rods from Randy have always been Ultima's.  Dark horse has been using them for years also.  I have them in 3 of my bikes.  I don't have an opinion on overkill or which is better.  I know I haven't had a problem.

Scuttlebutt?  I have been told that the ultima's aren't as hard so they tend not to break like Carrillo's, but I have been told a lot of things.  I asked because I thought Frank was using Ultima, and maybe he switch because he saw something.  Was hoping that wasn't the case.
