Alto " Carbonite Discs For A&S Clutch
« on: December 29, 2017, 01:43:30 PM »

Was talking to Robbie at Alto this morning to see if they are producing the "Carbonite disc yet for the A&S clutch, he referred to them as the "M-8" discs. Thinking that the same clutch as the A&S, just a little HD marketing twist. He said  they  are in R&D with that product and probably 6 months away. Guess I'll pick up a set of Barnett Kevlars ,for now and see how they do. Have the Aim hat with 150 springs in it now. Guess The 117 spanked them a little  to hard. oh well...next

He also commented the motorcop, obstacle course riders run the old "Type F ATF" with good results. I'm not on that  page yet, as our compensators also need a minimum GL1 rated fluid to make them live a little longer.  Redline primary fluid is rated GL5 and about the consistency of ATF will continue using that. Couple of my HD tech buds commented that the RL Primary  fluid seems to make them lock up a little better...
