TP Eng roller rockers
« on: March 17, 2018, 11:39:47 AM »

I was just looking at TP Engineering roller rockers  on eBay and it says it will not fit the CVO models. Anyone know why and what would be a good option in its place?

On the TP site I didn't find anything specifically stating they wouldn't work on a CVO.  On the Amazon page that pops up when you do a google search, if you put in a TC CVO in the fitment search it comes back that they do not fit the CVO.  The only things I can think of that might cause an issue on the CVO that wouldn't also be present on the standard model Twin Cam would be interference between the rocker arms and the rocker cover, or between the rocker arm and the valve spring collar.  The rocker covers and the valve springs and collars are different on CVO's.

I checked this site for threads on TP roller rockers and came across this one.  You might want to read GMR Steve's comments concerning his experiences with those versus S&S.

Thank you. I also emailed a note to TP Eng to find out why they don’t fit. Planned on going with the T-Man 625 cams. What constitutes high lift?

I Just took those cams out of my bike. If I remember correctly, T-Man told me that was about the biggest cam you could (or would want to) run WITHOUT roller rockers. Just as info, hope it helps some.

I think most folks consider .600" or greater to be high lift on a TC.

Any roller rocker will cause the need to clearance the rocker covers.
Run stock rockers, my suggestion.

all EVO & TC rockers are the same,no reason they will not fit a CVO,like stated they will need clearancing, just like any brand roller rocker.ive used a couple sets of TP rockers, nice product.we use roller rockers on anything over .600" here
