Progressive Shocks...

Would the Progressive 440's in the 11.5 be too low for the SEEG..??

I ride solo infrequently. Typically my gal is on the back. She's weights about 125, and I'm about 180.

Lot of good info on this thread. Hope it helps.

phattey:
Yup...I read throught that, yet wasn't able to walk away with any real feeling of ride height limitations..

It is, however, a great thread with good info...

Hmm.. I may look around to see if there are any 11.5's on an SEEG or an FLHT for that matter.

Thanks....

Depends on how agressive you ride, I find the stock 12" shocks too low, running board on the right, kick stand on left, hit way too soon.
But I do like the lower look [smiley=1syellow1.gif]

phattey:
Yup I agree, it's all about how you ride. Today my stock setup drags(floor boards) a bit when I lean and turn in low.

I'm still so used to my Duece I sold recently. I find myself kinda' throwin' the SEEG around...

I really like the slammed look, but if it makes the bike less useable, I'll stay with stock height and just get the appropreate 440's.

BTW...what is the stock shock length on the '05 SEEG..??
