Tony,
Thanks for sharing your story and your love for HD. My aunt volunteered at the Anderson center after her treatments there, and she lived until the ripe ole age of 87 after being told she only had 18 mos at age 74. That's why they call it 'practicing medicine'. Best wishes for your treatments!!

Get out and ride when you can, and maybe hook up with the group in AZ in May?

Give it H#$L Tony, a old friend of mine that taught me to quail hunt found out he had cancer about a month after he retired. The doctor did what he could and told him he had around 6 months, oh that made him mad he said there is a lot of quail out there and he was going to hunt them. Well 6 years later it got him and I miss him every time we go hunting, but I dont think those quail do ha. If you come through Carlsbad stop by Im on the map in my profile, maybe we can wear out some rubber on those good smooth NM hwys

Diagnosed in 1989, chemo, radiation, operation in 1990, rode for 30 years before the operation, and been riding since and still going strong. You will beat it.

Diagnosed 2004 Stg 3 Adenocarcinoma (lung cancer) age 34. 2005 chemo, radiation, tarceva and finally surgery removed rt lung, rib, and 4 lymph nodes. Thank God everyday for the second chance at life and try lo live each day like it could be my last. Keep the fight Tony and ride on brother!

Welcome from Padre Island in Corpus Christi, TX.  Its been 4 years since I had cancer surgery.  Still getting checked but so far so good.  Saying a prayer that you'll beat yours.  Good luck and enjoy every ride you get.
