Can you post a few more pictures, side on, from the top and showing the whole bike from behind.
Cheers

Aussie, do you want more photos of scttgr8's blue touring bike or my red Switchblade? You quoted scttgr8's post so I'm a bit confused. Plus, there's 28 pages of photos of every nook, crannie, bolt, & cable of my bike in this thread. Always happy post more but wanted to clarify your request so you get what you're lookin' for.

Was in CA last week. This hangs on the wall at San Diego HD. Thought it was pretty cool. It's about 5 feet wide.

Also, found something new to add to the bike this spring. Thinking of having them golded.

They look purty (and dangerous).  You could hurt yourself with those while working on the scooter.......put a eye out or something.  :nervous:  spyder

Finally got my levers upgrade figured out. Found a set of HD flame levers and had my painter fill in the flame portion with gold leaf and spray with clear coat. We'll see how they wear. Satisfied with the result. Another one of a kind upgrade.

Found a new tool pouch on ebay. The guy had a Switchblade but sold it. Much nicer than the old one. Little upgrades make me smile!

Been a while since I made any modifications to the Switchblade. Always looking for ways to make it a more competent touring machine. Have wanted GPS on the bars for a while and figured the best way to get that was with an iPad Mini as that would provide tunes, internet access, video and still camera, and a host of other goodies at the same time. RAM took a while but finally came out with a series of mounts for the Mini. Assembled and on the bike:

Still have to get a good waterproof case for the iPad but we should be ready to go for the trip out west at the end of the month.

Have a look at Liquipel (liquipel.com). They put a water-repellent micro-coating on your iDevice. They advertise it as splash-proof, not water-resistant, but I've heard Consumer Reports (or some similar organization) dropped a treated iPhone in a bucket of water with no ill effects.
