Spyder,
That sounds like a good idea. Hopefully one of the spies from the MoCo will read this thread and go back and say... "Heh, you know if we made a belt buckle with Screamin' Eagle on it I bet a bunch of those CVO owners would buy it, and we could charge them outrageous price on it too. Also if we make the chrome peel shortly after purchase they would be used to that and feel right at home".  :-/

Fired they ain't got to spy.  I sent several requests to HD CVO (via a contact in Milwaukee) a request for anything.......a CVO line of clothing, even just CVO t-shirts or a nice CVO custom leather jacket with the big Screamin Eagle on it and so far......nothing.

But the'yre getting enough CVOs on the ground now (and increase the production each year) that marketing has to be considering it by now if they're not already moving on something.  But they know that there's a desire.  They also monitor this site.

Spyder,
Sounds good. They should know by now that they have a good market for this stuff. Give the people what they want and they will buy it.

You got a tour pak for your Pumpkin?  If so stick that turkey (um, Eagle) right where I got that chrome doo-dad on red bike's tour paks.  If you don't have a tour pak THEN GET TWO and stick on the saddlebags like this  [smiley=pumpkin.gif]

ahhhhhh, editing my own post here.  Just had a brilliant idea though.  Gary, if you don't have a tour pak then you should buy one just to have a place to stick the emblem !   ;D [smiley=banana.gif] [smiley=jalapeno.gif] ;D

Oh, gee, thanks. Since I've only used the tour pak twice in the two years I've owned the bike, wouldn't make much since putting one on it. Now the two on the saddle bags are an interesting concept. You sure you not secretly working for the MoCo, 'cause you sure are selling me some P/A's.  ;D

This place rocks!!! Ok, so I'm at dealship today to do my "Black Friday" shopping and to take advantage of the discounts they were offering to HOG chapter members. So I go in with my wish list all printed out, and had hand written the above emblem. I had forgot to write the part number down, just figured that they (dealership) would know about it. Guess what??? They hadn't heard about it, when they tried to find it in their "new" items catalog it wasn't there. So I asked the guy at parts counter you got Internet access on your computer there? He replied yes, I walk behind the counter and bring up "our"  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] favorite website and bring him to this thread to get part number. Well he gets the number puts it in his system, and lo and behold he doesn't even have it listed.  :'( Being the faithful  [smiley=pumpkin.gif] owner that I am, you can imagine my disappointment. However he is going to ask the person that is in charge of getting their inventory on parts to get some of these, but that doesn't help me any for the sale. Oh, and BTW I did pull a 20% off discount out of the bag (they had 15 - 40% that were available), so I was happy with that. Would have spent more if I had gotten the 40%, but can't complain I'll take whatever I can get.

Jim, nice picture.  The emblem is on a catalog.  It's in the 2005 parts holiday guide, page 14 item, D.  It's the new thin catalog w/ a cutomized Deluxe w/ a white wintery background.

Just had to ask the dealer WHY they didn't order a bunch of these?  they knew I would take a few.  Wonder how long it will take to get here.  Don't think it is a VIN # protected part though.

I knew I had seen this item in catalog, and thought it was in this particular one. When I was at dealer yesterday I looked and couldn’t find it, thought I had seen it by itself like picture posted above. It slipped by me being mounted on sissy bar. Thanks a lot for confirming my sanity.  ;D

I knew I had seen this item in catalog, and thought it was in this particular one. When I was at dealer yesterday I looked and couldn’t find it, thought I had seen it by itself like picture posted above. It slipped by me being mounted on sissy bar. Thanks a lot for confirming my sanity.  ;D

My husband saw this emblem in a catalog a week ago and told me I needed one so I ordered it at the parts counter.  Went and picked it up and ordered two more for him.  I have mine now, and don't really like the orange on my red bike, but boy or boy, does it ever look good on Mr's Orange and Black HD/Ford F250 Truck. One on either side above the HD emblems up front, and one above the Ford emblem on the tailgate.  All three emblems have a place to go, but not on either of our bikes. At least not yet.  Very nice looking piece.

This is a great looking emblem. I was by the HD dealer today and wanted to order two. The part number he gave me was #92209-05.

Anyway I got two ordered, so Thanks for the info.

I have a few also. I'm thinking they're going on the truck. But it would be nice if it covered the antenna mounting holes on the chopped tour pack!!

Very nice emblem, I bought one while traveling down in Jacksonville the last two days.  I also got a Screamin Eagle pin which is similar.

I like this pin, not sure if it's a Harley Part though or something aftermarket.  Anybody seen this anywhere else?

Reply 39's is Harley. Mrs. Clause got me one for Christmas @ the shop. Matches the patches, decals, etc.
