They come off pretty easy.  Use some good quality waxed dental floss and work in back and forth between the tape and the paint.  Once you get about an inch through, you can peal it off.

Ok, I'm still in denial. Let me change that....

I know I'm getting old. I like the protection and the comfort of my fairing, windshield, lowers, and most of all tunes. Ok I said it, now do I still need to go to "ole timers" rehab? [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

ok I'm sorry, I literally JUST bought my first SE bike.   But I thought the SE bikes already had that stuff on it?!?!?!?  thats why I shelled out the extra cash for the SE to have the biggest and baddest from the beginning.

Will a SERT help my stock bike with SE slip on muffers?  or should I wait for some major modifications?

Along w/that information word has it they the SERT will become obsolete. So if you thinking about getting one get it while the getting is good.
