while i'm glad to hear that they saved some soldiers lives i work with 3 guys that have powerstrokes that have all had alternators crap out with low milage, one guy had a cam posistion sensor die. truck dont go far that way.

i'm not a brand loyalist per say, i buy what i like when i'm in the market last time it was a dodge truck time before that a toyota. i think the biggest reason i went dodge over ford was my opinion of the body style. too damn many sensors and computers in a truck these days

I am not pro Ford or pro Chevy. I will say this, GM products as a whole lose their value on the market faster than any other automaker other than Chrysler. I think the Ford tends to hold its value due to the solid front axle as compared to the Chevy Silverado........I am only guessing I dont know a whole lot about either truck other than looking at a kelly blue book.

Some useless FYI : The biggest loser as far as holding value is the Chrysler Sebring Convertible.....any year is the least valuable any car of the same year! So if you like one enough to buy one enjoy looking at it for a long long time. Car sales are so slow right now that they will not only sell you the thing for less than they paid they will go to ten year terms on financing so you can afford the payment if thats what it takes to get you to take it off their lot!

I have a Chevy Avalanche and really love it. They have two styles. The standard with the plastic cladding on the side and another version without it so it looks more like a Silverado. Both versions are built on the Suburban frame and are very versitile and ride great.
Several Avalanches are being used by contractors in Iraq. they have armour plating and other upgrades.
I will try to post some pictures from an Avalanche owners website that has 18,000 members.

And I don't think I would invest in kelderman mfg in the near future. It seems like one of their employees is having to sell off his toys, some of em not even played with 300 miles??????????????????? Or maybe he wasn't big enough for his big boy toys? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Wow, at first glance I thought it was the same truck that my husband drives, but his HD/Ford is only a F250.  And does not have as much fancy stuff in the inside.  But the O/B SEEG would be nice to have...... but we have too many vehicles already.

SEFATBOYSCOTT,

Can you please share with us what factual data you have to support your above mentioned claims?

That set up was intended to be a marketing tool and it has served that purpose for over two years now.

Time has moved on so a newer marketing plan has been developed rendering the old campaign materials dated at this point. They have a right to dispose of them how they see fit!
