Consider this, combine the cost of all the extras/custom parts you get with a CVO. If you try to build one, you'll spend way more than $17,500.00............ that alone justified my purchase!

Nice bike!

What ever you decide you will enjoy it. Just remember as the old saying goes, " Harley's are an investment; not a bike". Doesn't matter how much you spend originally it will add up. Some start off at lower prices, but they add up.... good luck

not sure if you are taking out a loan but another $6,500 might not be that bad at 2.99% check it out

http://www.columbuscu.org/mainpage.php?PageName=home

I have never seen a rate that low for a motorcycle

In my experience, you won't see a loan for a used bike that low. Even a home equity loan is 3.5-4 % which is great. Depending on the length of the loan the extra $6500 shouldn't be that bad.

Losing sleep at night over a payment is never a good thing, but would you rather have the payment and the credit card bill for all the mods?

I don't do debt for "fun stuff" so a loan isn't going to work for me.  I'm not a big shopper, and don't use credit cards except for gas so I can pay it all at once at the end of the month.  Sorry.  :(  But you're right, if I was going to--that's a GREAT deal!!!

I went to see it and WOW!!!  It is even more astounding in person than in photos.  I am going to run the VIN today and then if it all checks out, I'll be bringing it home tonight.

The seat height was perfect.  The weight and balance perfect.  The ride was great, and the of course, the look--well...dang!

Wish me luck!!!

Did you click on the link? its 2.99%, granted that only applies to first tier credit. It actually 2.99% for bikes as old as a 2005. I have my truck loan with them also at that low rate.

Seat height is 27.5 inches. For all the reasons mentioned above I would try to get an 08 model. In my personal opinion the 08's cosmetically were much nicer.
Maybe i'm biased
BUBBLEHEAD great looking 08' CVO Road King. I agree 08's looked better, I think partly because the saddlebags did not have the big fake buckles on them. I would buy one just like yours if I had unlimited funds. Maybe someday.

That's including a discount given for automatic payments from one of their checking accounts....if you want to open another account with them it may be worth a look.

Yes thats what I did for my truck loan. Just opened a savings account and send the payment to the savingsd account and then they take the monthly payment out of that. if you choose not to do that is only .25% higher which is still a great deal.

I can't believe I did it!!!
I'll get some pix soon...
Thanks to ALL of you for your help!
