I didn't think there was a problem with you bike. The cam is a bolt in fix for the cam the MOCO put in the bike to satisfy the EPA. The cam profile was trying to raise cylinder pressures(which it did) and bring in the TQ curve earlier and keep it in longer (which it does) I actually lost HP numbers but increased my TQ numbers which is a good thing. I think your oil pump connector is OK.

Dang Hubbard,
I'm surprised you don't pass out from the G force. You must wear a pressure suit for those speeds!  ;D ;)

Naw, Man!  That's the only positive with a Bat-Wing Fairing, the down side being it contributes to the Motorsickle trying to lift, at those speeds.  That's when She gets a little woozy.  Later--HUBBARD

Now that would be a helluva ride!!  My problem is I like to drive everything at about 130 mph!  The only reason I haven't on the V is that I'm still getting familiar with the bike!!  The reason I chose to upgrade is that the Sporster would ride comfortably at 100 mph but just didn't have any get-up-and-go juice left.  And on I-285 if you need to move from 100 to 120 it needs to be QUICK!!  When I was riding at 100 in the fast lane and bagger were passing me, it was like, "Houston we have a problem!"

Yeah, 'er 'uh, Vgirl,
Me, too, but 130 with no windshield?  That would be torture for Ol' Hub. :'(  I rode a V-Rod when they were first introduced to the market.  Definitely performed well on the high-side of the Tach.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] You appear to have some of the same riding habits as me, in that I would rather ride the 4-Lanes and Interstates, than the back roads.  Had too many close calls on the two-lanes.  Just flat don't like 'em.  I mean, I'll ride 'em occasionally, but definitely in a different mode.  Later--HUBBARD

Hubbard,
Thanks for the english lesson.  I've felt that lift at 120+ and couldn't really come up with a good word to explain it......WOOOOZY.....

Say's it all.....

Funny you say that because someone flipped today when I told him I was taking I-75 and I-40 to Knoxville vs. back roads.  You get in the left hand lane and go......  What's the problem?

I thought that was the way to ride! Click into sixth, set the cruise and make some time. :)

The 130 is a tad fast for my Bagger but is only the start of third gear for my Busa. ;D Ahhh what a rush......

That is the way to go. I don't have a sixth speed, but definitely like setting the cruise (usually about 8 - 9 miles over posted speed limit, unless I can pace a vehicle going faster  ;) ), putting on some tunes, and letting the bike eat up some highway.
