You must be a very rich man going by those aircraft seats, Napalm!  ;D

Looks like a great trip, well done!  How many miles/km did you average a day, as a matter of interest?

Jim

Jim,

We did a total of 2418 Kilometers on the entire trip, averaged about 100 - 200 a day, depending on where we were at.

Those seats were FREE!!!!!  Helps when you are a frequent traveler with USAirways!!!

I may have had it in first gear with the clutch in when I tried to start it with the kick stand down....oh well got it started and off we went!!!

napalm

I usually get caught out, even after years of it, by starting, and putting it into gear before I raise the stand (not that I'd forget, that's just my habitual order of doing things!)

So - how many km per day were you doing, on average?

Jim

How was the cost of the rental? When I looked into renting in the UK is was way too rich for my blood.

About two grand total for 10 days...went over on miles so that cost me an extra 250 Euro.  I am still very dissappointed that HD discontinued their HOG Fly & Ride Program.  That was the best bargain around...
