Anyone have any info on highway bars for my ride? Any FXR, 2, 3, or 4 rides with highway bars? what make, model, where to buy, etc.etc.? Checked the HD dealer already; not impressed with their knowledge (or lack of) the FXR4...Thanks

H-D used to have one part# 49017-82A. It fit all FXR's 1982-1994, 1999 FXR2's & FXR3's, and 2000 FXR4's. I had to go back to a 2004 Accessory book to find it listed, so it is probably obsolete.

Drag Specialties carries one from Jardine part# 10-5013-01.

There's one on eBay, titled "ENGINE GUARD CRASH HIWAY BAR HARLEY FXR CHROME OE" (#180011643282), selling as "Buy it Now" for $99.99.

I don't know if that's a good price or not, especially for used but I just saw it out there the other day while I was pokin' around, and since you asked...

I plugged the part number (49017-82A) into Surdyke's site and it came back as though it was in stock. Price: $154.31.
