Are there any 03 SERK owners still active here on the forum?
-
We have one
-
I have one and it is the best engine (SE 103) I ever had with other features the newer CVO's don't have. It feels like a sport bike compared to my 15 FLTRUSE. The Road Glide is much better in other ways and especially on 600 mile days.
There is a 03 SERK on display at the Peterson Museum in California. Although Harley builds a anniversary model every 5 years this 100 year anniversary model is special to me.

I'm riding a 03 SERK, liked them when they came out in 2003 and picked one up 5 years ago.

Ressurecting an old post.....yes, there are a few of us '03 SERK riders still around. In my case, just haven't frequented the forum for a few months. For those that are contemplating total shoulder replacement...note that it takes all the fun out of you for a while. Now waiting for spring & riding season to get here to see how well I can hold the bike up.
Have thought several times about getting a newer ride, but whenever I look at this pristine gold masterpiece, I just can't seem to bring myself to pulling the trigger. Its been a reliable ride since new in December 2003 with simple/general maintenance......and it still turns heads.

I just recently picked up an 03 flhrsei2. Only miles so far, was the ride home. But if that is any indication. It's gonna be a great bike.

Congratulations PBSTN.....I and a host of others are confident that you will be most pleased. They are great models and the 103 from that year has probably one of the best, if not the best, track record of any of the "big bore" engines to date. If you have a race tuner and need a map, I posted one on the forum years ago that will wake it up a bit and give you some decent mileage to boot. I re-found the link and see there have been 127 downloads. Anyway, enjoy your new ride!

Also, please consider this.... https://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=45171.msg683072#msg683072 (I got word that a "tuner" had downloaded my map and was passing it off to paying customers...though I have no proof of this.)

Yes, I've one and I love it !

Sure looks like an 2013, not the 2003 he was asking if any one had.
I know the looks, as I have the 13.

I don't have the bike, but I do have a Corbin Classic Solo and passenger pillion in excellent condition made specifically for the SE RK dash. I'd sell for very reasonable. Fits early SE RKs.

I've been a huge 03 SERK fan, since they were new. Purchased a low mile, 1 owner bike in April of this year. Been riding the wheels off of it, super impressed so far.

I have a friend who who will selling his purple flamed low mileage 03 Road King this week here in London , Ontario Canada.

If it's purple flamed it's not an '03 it's an '02. If you want to list it for him put it in our 3rd party board.

Just picked one up a few weeks ago!

Just got mine last Saturday. Haven't ridden it a 100 miles yet, first bike with cruise and efi. Love everything except the skinny rear tire. 8)

I'll bring this thread back from the dead...I just purchased an 03 SERK a couple months ago. 1 owner bike, 25,000 miles, mint condition. Its on the Handy Lift Table right now as I am slowly going through everything to bring it up to date. Flushed the clutch and brakes, new pads all around, Engine/Primary/Tranny oil, removed the grips and floorboards and replaced them with OEM rubber (I like it better). Awaiting parts for the SE cam adjuster upgrade kit, and some Torrington B148 bearings to arrive.
The only thing that I didn't care for was the Tach sticking up in front of me, so I removed it. I also removed the riders adjustable backrest so I can use a solo seat if I decide to go that way.
So, yes, there will be an 03 SERK roaming the deserts of Arizona soon.
-
That tach location was something I also wasn't a huge fan of. On mine used a combined speedo and tach so it's all in the main instrument.
-
I have one.

I have one. 12k miles for sale.
Where are you located? Any details on the bike?

Yes I am a proud owner of one.
