God the CVO Road Glide Colors suck, shouldn't CVO have custom paint, I was going to buy one but not now I'll keep my 13 CVO until they have better paint

Not very impressed with the CVO colors and models availability.  Guess I'll keep riding the CVO Pro Street for a while longer.

I have to comment on the paint jobs too, I just looked at the CVO road glides and I'm thinking it's a trick,  :nixweiss: they're gonna unveil the real paint jobs soon, I hope.  :bananarock:

All I can say is my 2009 CVO BLOWS AWAY this year CVO Road Glide Special.

I have:
1. Great color and graphics
2. Screamin' Eagle logo
3. 117" Motor
4. Built Bottom End
5. Color matched Detachable Tour-Pak
6. Wireless head set
7. Paid Off Years ago and didn't cost $42K

I DO like the Factory installed 21" Loop up front. However, that's a easy fix.

Looks like my 2009 CVO Road Glide is a Winner, Winner Chicken Dinner again vs 2018 CVOs crop of bikes!!!

I guess Im in the minority. I was thinking I screwed up buying the 2017 CVO Streetglide. The 2018 Streetglide and Roadglide look to be a "Better" Orange than mine, And the 2018 CVO Streetglide comes with the 117" and 6 speakers.

That one color on the CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide should be called Atomic Primer, cause that is what it looks like. Primer with a clear coat. Then I guess on the day they paint black they park the completed CVO Limited bikes under the booth so that the black overspray falls on them.....

Two years ago the Factory guys that attended the CVO GTG in MV promised that they understood what a great many folks relayed to them about the fact that the paint on a CVO should really stand out from the paint on the regular line. I guess they must have fired them two guys or something because they really punted the paint this year.

To all of those who will be buying 2018s, best of luck to you.  Did not go back to read the thread, but recall the 2017 CVOs were not that well received on paint either. Same deal on previous years. Through the years there are some CVO paint sets that really do stand out.  Some of the older ones are beginning to remind me of when we started looking fondly back at '56-57 Chevys and wondering what the hell happened to the new cars compared to back then (from the mid 70s).

Bet they look better in person, they always seem to. Some of these at first glance are as ugly as a bowling shoe.  Sometimes in person they are too.  Somebody, somewhere will buy one & they will like it.  Am happy with mine, was not interested in an 18 from the get go.  M8 will sell a lot of bikes.  MoCo revised 2018 sales numbers down earlier this year, my guess is that was done after they saw what the 18 color schemes were going to be.
