Try Wally's Cycle World for the Feuling parts.  A fair bit cheaper.  The whole package makes for a great combination though.  It has been used by several here and all with great results.

Rigman,

The list you have above are exactly the same parts as I installed when the 575G cams were released, I was not very impressed at first but that was due to the moron who remapped my SERT, I got less hp & less tq. But recently I have installed a PCIII over the top of my SERT & I am very happy with the results check  THIS POST (http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php/topic,5892.315.html) reply 329 . I am running a 2 into 1 lakepipe with no baffles which I do not think is very good at all for performance but I like the look. I have also recently had a stock throtle body machined out to 48.5mm which I will be fitting soon & I will re dyno tune to see if that makes any difference. I am also considering the new V & H 2 into 1 big radius when that gets released next month to try & boost my tq between 3 & 4 rpm.

Cheers
Aussie

Aussie

Thanks for the input. I'm leaning towards going with a 2-1 exhaust also. I have a little time to make up my mind as lots of snow here and my mech. is also behind but should
have it ready for when the snow is gone. 8)

Forgot to say it has been a really long time since I have seen you post. Good to see you back, keep it regular. There is a big shortage of "Fatboy" threads being posted here.

ok,,  maybe I'm stupid,,  but wouldn't it have been easier to remap the sert then to install a PC on top of it ??????????

just kinda sounds like a big waste of money - that could be better spent on chrome.

Unfortunately for me there is no one around here that knows how to tune a SERT to its full potential. It appears they use a canned map & make a few minor adjustments charge you $400 & tell you it is running great. ( I got less hp & less tq after fitting the 575's & taking it to the biggest & most expirenced Stealer in my state for a full remap/dyno tune)

But I found a local who is very good with power commanders & all we did was fit the PCIII & map it to gain approx 10hp & 10 ft/lbtq Now it is running Great now if I make any changes he will charge me under $100 to remap the PCIII

SERT = wasted my money
PCIII = money well spent

I still think the SERT is a good thing in the hands of a well trained & expierenced tuner but since my cams were not from HD & there was no canned map available for them it had them f@#*ed. They even told me they spent more than 5 hours on it. PCII in & out in under 2 hours & never ran so well!

PS: Not many parts left to chrome now!

cheers

Hey Mike,

What are your numbers with the mods now? I am actual a fan of the SERT. My mods are only the SERT and pipes. My local stealer made a custom map ( about 6 hours dyno time ) 97.6 hp 107 lbs tq. rear wheel.

Scott,
Its good to see you posting here again it must be at least 6 months since you were sniffing around here. Glad to see you saw the light & got rid of the gold wing (ha ha)

I would like to have had my SERT tuned properly but like I mentioned above the tuners availabe to me here are not experienced enough to get the full potential out of my set up. Thats why I had no choice but to add the PCIII. Now I have 105hp & 109 tq.

CLICK HERE (http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php/topic,5892.315.html) & see reply 329 for my dyno sheet.

Cheers
Mike

Yeah Mike alot has changed. Don't get me wrong I still like the GW for it's intended purpose, but I got rid of it in favor of a VFR800 for commuting. I don't want to put my silver sled through that kind of daily abuse. She is the one bike I hope to keep in my shed for many many years to come. I have big plans. I am about to post a topic concerning them. Did you do the fat rear tire conversion yet?
