I'm looking to find the original CANADIAN MSRP for a 05 SE Fatboy. I'm about ready to purchase an extremely sweet looking 05 just wanted to know if the price is in the ballpark. $25,000 cdn with lifetime powertrain warranty. Wanted to know what this bike originally sold for here in Canada. 3700 miles. Any help would be appreciated.
-
I am not sure on the CDN side, Seems a bit high to me though. I got my 2006 with 240 miles on it last fall for 24,500.00 USD
-
msrp in US was $27,995 - California was $28,095
if this helps any :apple:
-
thanks i appreciate the response, i knew the us prices, really curious as to what this bike sold for in Canada in 05, with the $ difference and the limited number that were sold here I am guessing35 to 37

Thanks Harleyteam, thats what I was thinking. I have always wanted a Harley but, wife, house, kids, divorce, child support, etc always got in the way. Now that I am in the position to do it, I don't want to think that I settled. I know you understand.

Have you gotten one yet?
Seems like you could buy one down here and take it up a lot cheaper.
geezerglide has done that.
With the Canadian dollar as strong as it is, wouldn't you do better down here? With some luck you may save a couple of grand.

Well said. However a number of our brothers and sisters "Ride to Live" on the FLSTFSE2, a top notch sequel to the original.
And I still wish I had the fat rear end....

Mike, please realize there is no disrespect intended to anyone's ride. I can't even think straight lately. I have a new obsession and her name is FLSTFSE.

if you want it bad enough,,,,,,,
just remember the ol saying. a woman will buy things she don't need or have a use for, just because its on sale.
a man will pay full price and then some, for something he really wants.
if it's what YOU really want,,, GO FOR IT.
if you don't,,,,, and it gets sold,,, you'll be kickin yourself in the butt forever :nixweiss:

harleyteam,
Sir, you are wise and noble. I can't stand when I fall right into a category like that. It's like I always say, " I would never join an organization, that would have (me) as a member".
Looks like I belong to yet another....
Long time since we last spoke. Hope all is well.

We haven't heard from you in a few days, are you loving it or what. :nixweiss:

Yes my cheeks are still hurt from grinning. I still don't believe what I just got. To say that I am thrilled is really an understatement. You have all seen the pic and as you all know, the pics don't do it justice. I'm glad that I found this website because y'all understand what I'm feeling. Even my dog looks at me funny now.
-
A wise purchase if I have ever heard of one. And it's red ! What a fine looking vehicle.
You hit the jackpot, portablemayhem.

Thanks again you guys, I'm still waiting on insurance company for final settlement so I can bring my bike home. I've got it half paid so just impatiently waiting. Either way, I don't get to ride it until first of September. Till then she will be the most expensive living room furniture I've ever owned. I can see a few upgrades already and hanging around here I'm sure will have me upgrading things I never thought of before. I got a long way to go to catch up to Aussie, however my bike is already red so I think that's one up even before I start, though I'm sure he would disagree. Chrome calipers and chrome inner primary are what's in my head right now.
