flstfse almost ready for a trip
« on: November 01, 2004, 11:19:40 PM »

It took me 2 1/2 hours to get to the dealer because of the inclinent weather tonight, but it was worth it. We now have passing lamps, windshield, heated grips, Kuryakan mustache bar/Alleron pegs, Bags, and of course the Rineharts. I did get to hear the Rineharts give new life to the 103.    [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif]

I still need to decide on a seat and if the rain clears up maybe I can get this puppy home and work on that. Heres a link to another gallery of more pics with the accessories installed so far   http://royogren.com/gallery/flstfse2

REO,

Great lookin' ride.  I had a chance to ride one at the KC Open house.  Screamin' Eagle truley apply's to this scoot.

Can you tell me more about the saddle bags?  Brand, part #, Cost, any extra hardware needed and installation hints?

Thanks man, welcome and enjoy the trips [smiley=beerchug.gif]

Thank's johnb, Glave for the kind words. I can't wait to get it home, maybe Friday...

Glave on the bags check this thread

third post down you will see a picture part number and dimensions. To be honest I'm not crazy about the mounts the dealer put on, they are quick disconnect but they stick out about 1 1/2 inches and they are not lockable. sorry I dont have the part numbers of what they used on the mounts. Almost forgot you asked cost, from memory I think the bags were about $600 retail, quick realease kit $140.
