I stopped by the local dealer a few days ago, they were having an MSRP two day sale, and still had a red one on showroom floor. Not bad! As usual, looked way better in person than in photos. Very nice. I'll tell ya though, I understand how when you have the money, like Jay Leno etc, you can have twenty to thirty vehicles at a time. I'd have a Harley garage, well not just Harley's, but a garage of numerous different bikes to suit my mood for that particular time period.!!!

I know how excited you must be because I remember when the dealer gave me my estimated delivery date, congradulations Rainman.

I would say unless their is a confirmed fuel map for your pipe engine combo I also would wait till you have 500 miles on it first. I had my pipes put on before taking delivery to get them under the optional warranty umbrella and their was'nt any confirmed fuel maps with the race tuner so my dealer set it up with their experience with the closest combo they had. I am going to have it tweaked with a dyno run in the summer when the basline temperatures, air density and barametric pressures are closer to my everyday driving. I will say the mapping seems fairley close as I dont experience any drivability issues and the fuel economy is fair for a new engine.

I also live in an area like you when the riding in the next couple months will be minimul. I spent the weekend when I wasn't putting up christmas decorations installing some more chrome on my bike. I know you have quite a list of goodies so it sounds like even though you wont be riding much you will get to play with all the eye candy in the garage [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif] [smiley=laugh.gif]

Manchester H-D Buel, the second highest MSRP Plus$ dealer in the State of NH. Typically 2500$+. When I bought my bike, I told them I had an MSRP dealer picked out, told them which one, told them the actual quote I had, and they still gave me a quote 3K over! Go figure? The highest MSRP+ is Seacoast Harley in Portsmouth, they get upwards of 4K over. I think these idiots are finding their sales shrinking. Think it won't be long for the MSRP dealer in the state to drop below MSRP as "the idiots" finally drop their rip-off practices.

Psycho: sounds like your dealers trying to pick up an amount equal too or  greater the amount of sales tax most of us pay, in my area 8.25%.  NH. has no sales tax last time i was there-AK
