I have the power duals, not the dresser duals.

TWM, how do you like your Power Duals? I looked at those early on for the Silver Bullet.

RickC, the power duals are not installed yet.  I was waiting on a tune to install them.  Looks like I may take it and drop off next week.  I am going to put in a Woods cam, install the exhaust, power commander V, and tune.

Cool! Look forward to your post-tune report. Which Woods cam, BTW?

I'm looking forward to hearing about your tune also.  I have those pipes on order and I had thought about the Woods cam and still undecided.  I have the super SERT instead of the PC V, but I'm real curious as to what results you get and what Woods cam you use.

Off the top of my head, I'm thinking the one I was looking at was a TW7H, but I can't remember for sure.  I can't seem to find where I have it written down.  I'll be curious to see how yours works out, as it sounds like you will probably have yours done before mine makes it to the shop.

That's the one I was looking at...TW-7H.  It looks like the main difference is the lift and I would have to go with hi-lift springs to put this one in.

1abastarsmda  I think you are correct.  The TW6-6 is really a stock replacement cam.  My tuner has had experience with this cam and said the performance is pretty good in the 110.  I think if I was going to do head work and add some compression I would use the TW7H.  I am not sure sure the TW6-6 is going to put up big numbers, but I am hoping for flat torque curve in the riding range.  I will have before and after numbers in about a week and a half.

I think the one you are using is supposed to have good torque throughout the spectrum and the one I was looking at is like their super high torque cam.  It may be more than I need to do though.  I can't wait to see what kind of numbers you post.

Daniel,
So you have our true dual header pipes?  If you do, then I can understand why the stock bikes are over powering you.  A true dual system is not a performance orientated system.  It is a more free flowing system with no cross chamber at any point.  It is intended to allow the bike to run cooler and also to have a 50-50 exhaust flow through each muffler.  The reason why the stock bikes are over powering you is because on there header system they have a cross chamber that provides better scavenging for the combustion chamber.  We can not guarantee that if you throw on our slip ons you will get the performance you are looking for.  If you want all around performance, we can guarantee you will attain it with our 2-1 systems.
